Founded in 1950 and headquartered in Daytona Beach, Fla., the association celebrates a diverse and storied membership with more than 2,300 Members representing more than 30 countries. With a vision to inspire, empower, educate and entertain by showcasing the very best of women’s golf, LPGA Tour Professionals compete across the globe, while the Epson Tour, the official development and qualifying tour of the LPGA, consistently produces a pipeline of talent ready for the world stage. The LPGA demonstrates its dedication to the development of the game through The LPGA Foundation. Since 1991, this charitable organization has been committed to empowering and supporting girls and women through developmental, humanitarian and golf community initiatives, including LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, the LPGA Women’s Network and the LPGA Amateur Golf Association.

Our Mission at the LPGA is to be a recognized worldwide leader in sport by providing women professionals the opportunity to pursue their dreams in the game of golf. The LPGA is continuing to transform from a U.S. tournament and dues association, to a global media property that further expands our member benefits and fan following through key strategic partnerships, expanded worldwide opportunities and broader connections with women in the game.
In 2020, the LPGA has entered a 50-50 joint venture partnership with the Ladies European Tour, and now drives to grow opportunity and exposure for LET athletes in Europe.

Our culture at the LPGA is built on a powerful principle: “Act Like a Founder”. Our 13 Founding members were passionate about making golf more diverse – in the broadest sense - and leaving the game better than they found it. They were determined, tenacious, creative and feisty. And, they had the courage to stand up for their convictions. The LPGA does not tolerate racism. In 1967, when a Black tour member was denied lodging with the rest of the tour, players from the tour responded: “We all stay or we all go.”
Our goal at the LPGA is to change the face of golf, making the sport we love more accessible and inclusive. Diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of who we are and what we do.
