From hands-on projects and products to media and content, we are committed to helping young innovators build their creative confidence and problem-solving skills. We have shipped over 15 million projects created by in-house experts and tested by kids.

Our Founding Story

We believe that creative confidence helps kids think BIG and act like creators and producers instead of just consumers. I had a deep appreciation for the creative, hands-on projects that encourage this kind of thinking, but as a parent I often found that my best intentions fell short. It was tough to find the time to do the research and come up with a great idea, let alone gather all the materials.

KiwiCo was created to celebrate kids' natural creativity and curiosity, while helping parents who want to bring enriching experiences to their children. We want to make it fun, easy, and delightful for families to spend time building, exploring and creating together. And, ultimately, we hope that the problem solving skills and creative confidence that kids gain today will help them tackle the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.

Since its inception, the KiwiCo team has grown. We've added creative designers who dream up the projects, valued experts who review them, and a community of kid testers who keeps us on our toes and ensures the projects are fun and engaging. We’re excited to have the opportunity to deliver these experiences to the creative kids in your life!

We’re a team of educators, makers, engineers, and rocket scientists (yes, for real). And we’re passionate about what we do.

At KiwiCo, we deliver enriching hands-on, STEAM projects to spark creativity & curiosity. Over the years, we’ve designed over 1,500 amazing projects that have delighted kids worldwide. Our product designers find daily inspiration in our makerspace to ideate, prototype, and tinker with their designs. Our products are extensively tested by kids to be engaging, enriching, and most of all, seriously fun.

We love opportunities to engage with our local community and share hands-on creative inspiration! Our designers break out cool tools (like “Raz and Taz” our 3-D printers) to make early stage prototypes & models. Our team of educators, engineers, and scientists are inspired by the most fearless & creative bunch we know — kids! We love to celebrate creativity in everyday office life — particularly at Halloween! Our cross-functional teams work closely together to ensure our final products align with our high standards. Quarterly company offsites, monthly buddy lunches, and weekly team meetings are just a few ways we learn more about each other and share more about ourselves.
