Over 100 years ago, Planned Parenthood was founded on the idea that women should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams. With a long legacy in the region, today's Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT) operates 14 health centers across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic is one of the largest providers of reproductive health care services in the region, and provides high-quality affordable health care for women, men, and young people, and is a major provider of sex education. At PPSAT, you will find a culture of like-mind individuals eager to make contributions to the community and support the organization's mission. PPSAT's 3 major goals:

  1. To be a leader in all three aspects of our mission, throughout our service area: advocacy, education and health service
  2. To thrive fiscally, ensuring our long-term viability
  3. Expand access to care through public policies and reverse policies that create barriers for providers and patients
