The continuing development of our therapy LEUKINE® (sargramostim) is a great example of our mission in action. Based on independent scientific data and our understanding of the mechanism of action of Leukine, we are continually working to identify opportunities for this drug to make a difference for patients.
One critical area is lung health. We immediately recognized the potential for Leukine to play a role in the treatment of COVID-19 and rapidly engaged with leading pulmonologists, immunologists and other specialist to initiate research. We are dedicated to applying this same approach to new areas of research that can make a positive difference for patients with many serious diseases in the years ahead.
