PAU is a private, nonprofit university with a sole focus on psychology and counseling. History of PAU
Founded in 1975 as an independent professional school called the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology (PGSP), we first became accredited in 1986 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. We've maintained our accreditation since then, and in 2009, we re-incorporated as Palo Alto University. We've provided quality, focused education in psychology for more than 40 years.
