The ‘my applicants’ tab within your DiversityJobs account lists the candidates who are showing the intent to apply by uploading a resume in response to one of your jobs. This step is completely optional and is not intended to replace your own application process.
A quick review from the Job Performance page:
After your jobs are shown in the search results, the job seeker clicks the job title to open up a new page (still on DiversityJobs.com) with the full job description. This is where the job seeker sees all details about the position taken from your career site/ATS during our job scrape, including the description of duties, requirements, a summary of your organization and the application process if it’s seen within the jobs on your site, and your EEO Statement.
Once a candidate clicks ‘apply now’, they will be redirected to the full application process at your ATS. At the same time, we send the candidate an email reminding them to complete the application process at your website, and we again provide them the link to do so.
In the same email, we prompt them to upload a resume in response to your job so we may keep in on file for you, as well as to collect demographic information from the candidate that we report in aggregate for clients who use our Compliance Reporting features, which helps them prove we are in fact reaching specific pools of diverse candidates.
In the end, we have resumes for you to review from your ‘applicants’.
The ‘title’ column shows you the specific job to which that particular candidate is applying.
This is the location of the job posting to which the candidate is applying, not necessarily where the candidate is currently located.
This column lists the date on which the candidate uploaded a resume in response to your job, and would have been redirected to submit a full application at your site.
This is the email address for the applicant…
…And the full name of the applicant.
You may sort through the candidates using the fields near the top of the page, and preview the ‘text’ or ‘slideshow’ version of the candidate’s resume just to the right of their name. Or you may also download that particular candidate’s resume.
